Suzy

Suzy

She had been chosen amongst millions,
To wear the dress among hundreds,
At the first ever world wedding carnival,
Held at downtown World End.

Bridegrooms were toys and streets were bright,
Old fashionned dancefloors on which to fly,
Moutains were tiers, around the small,
Giant boulevards on which to cry.

All day long she watched herself,
Dancing among her beautiful peers,
Who came from all around the world,
Up to downtown World End.

In the morning she saw her friends,
Among the crowd so close to blend,
For sure they came to see the bride,
For sure they'd always be around
The day was bright,
But there were crows,
Looking, through the glass,
Of the grey side....

When the night came,
She was alone.
She disappeared from her own sight.
Friends abandoned the poor Suzy,
It was the end of the party.

Into red shacks turned the city,
She was looking for poor Suzy.
Afraid and cold,
She wandered there,
Till the new day of the nightmare...

When the sun rose, she found herself ;
There was a glass and then a room ;
Humans, dining and a look-through screen,
Then was Suzy on a toilet seat,
With the dim look of a marble queen,
Blood empty corpse on a red throne.
